This is the largest U.S. Navel Sea Cadets training vessel in service at present time. The GRAYFOX is moored in Port Huron, Mich. and is used by multiple Sea Cadet units from the U.S. as well as Canadian units. This vessel was a research torpedo recovery ship and was aquired from the Navy. The aft storage racks were removed and a berthing quarters was added to augment the existing crew quarters. Additional heads and H.V.A.C. systems were added. GRAYFOX is seen in many ports of the Great Lakes through the summer months with her cadets and active at her mooring during winter months.
